Simon Whitlock claimed a straight sets victory over Jarkko Komula on Sunday afternoon as he eased through to the last 16 of the World Championship at London’s Alexandra Palace.

World Darts Championship: Convincing Win for Whitlock

Simon Whitlock made a fine start to his 2014 World Darts Championship campaign, dispatching of Alexandra Palace debutant Ross Smith in straight sets on Tuesday night.

Former runner-up Whitlock showed signs of the clinical finishing that saw him reach the final in 2010.
