Grand Slam of Darts: Whitlock Relishing Tough Challenge

Australia’s Whitlock has struggled to mark an impact in televised tournaments over the last month.

He has been drawn in a demanding group F for the round robin stage of the Grand Slam alongside fellow Premier League star Peter Wright, Northern Ireland’s Brendan Dolan and Michael Smith, who knocked Phil Taylor out of the World Championships last Christmas.

Whitlock Has Double Target For World Grand Prix

Whitlock’s primary aim is to enjoy an extended run in Dublin, a tournament where he reached the quarter-finals last year.

Simon Whitlock clinched his first PDC title of 2014 by winning Players Championship 12 in Coventry on Sunday.
