Determined Simon Whitlock has spoken of his pride and excitement at booking his place in the newest tournament on the darts’ calendar as the world’s leading stars prepare to head to Scotland.

Australian Whitlock, who is sponsored by leading paint brand Leyland Paints*, is in action this weekend in the inaugural Masters event.

The top 16 players in the world will do battle at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with fourth ranked Whitlock taking on Mervyn King on the opening night. Continue reading →
