World Grand Prix Draw: Whitlock faces Pipe

Newly crowned European Champion Simon Whitlock will take on Justin Pipe in round one of the PartyPoker.com World Grand Prix in Dublin.

‘The Wizard’, who won his first major title in Germany last weekend, faces Pipe at the Citywest Hotel on Monday 8 October.

The winner of their first round clash is set to play either Kevin Painter or Kim Huybrechts in the last 16.

The PartyPoker.com World Grand Prix, which is unique for its double-start format, takes place from Monday 8 to Sunday 14 October, with 32 players battling it out for the £100,000 first prize.
