Simon Whitlock’s deadly doubling earned him his first victory of the 2014 Premier League Darts season as a perfect display of finishing saw him defeat Robert Thornton in Exeter.

Whitlock didn’t miss a single attempt at a double in a thrilling match, which saw him win the last four legs to fend off an impressive Thornton, who averaged over 103.
